Keeping the tradition of Ladakh alive in its interiors and exteriors, we have created 76 luxurious guest rooms and suites. All rooms offer stunning views from the large picture windows of the surreal landscape, the vivid colours of an ever-changing sky and the lofty Himalayan peaks.
All rooms at The Grand Dragon Ladakh are furnished in colourful brocades in rich, jewel tones that have been specially designed and commissioned with a motif called Koshen, while the hand woven Khabdan rugs and artwork on the wall displaying Ladakhi jewellery add warmth to the interiors. The heated teak wood flooring ensures warmth through the year.
As acclimatisation is required at high altitude and to ensure guest comfort, we have installed fresh air systems with humidifiers that infuse fresh air and moisture in the rooms, in addition to central air-conditioning. Oxygen cylinders and breathable camphor sachets are also provided in every room to combat low oxygen levels.
